Our Story

Solid Rock was founded in 1975 by 19 believers who took a bold stand against racism—refusing to stop ministering to Black youth in their community. God has sustained us ever since. We’re also a new church, believing God is doing a fresh work in our midst as we continue the mission of Jesus. Our community includes founding members and new faces alike, united by a passion to worship Jesus and grow together in love. We celebrate our past, but we’re focused on what’s ahead—living as sons and daughters with one shared story: once lost, now found.
